Little Cities to Host University Groups

Eighteen Ohio University students will be taking a week long course in the Little Cities microregion on August 25-29.  The 4 credit hour course is offered by the College of Education, as EDTE492B/592B Southeast Ohio: The Appalachian Experience and taught by Professor Frans Doppen with assistance from Cheryl Blosser and John Winnenberg.  Daily bus trips to the region will take students to historical, environmental and educational sites.  On August 27, the students will interface with 40 students from Dennison University who will visit the region as part of a week long class on “Social Entrepreneurship.”  These experiences are part of “The Little Cities As A Classroom” theme adopted during the 2007 Winter Conversations series.
