Funding has been secured by Sunday Creek Associates to resume restoration of the historic Tecumseh Theater building in the Shawnee Historic District. A combination of funding from the U. S. Department of the Interior’s Save America’s Treasures program and the State of Ohio’s Department of Development will allow the replacement and/or restoration of all exterior doors and windows on the building, tucking pointing of the exterior brick where necessary, and the return of the first floor’s left hand side to its original (circa 1907) storefront window design.
