Two gentlemen who have been long time friends of the Little Cities passed away recently. Ron Juniper, 72, died on March 2, 2010. Ron had been working on the Tough Times, Tough People exhibit last fall before suffering a debilitating stroke. He and his wife Lynn have been regular volunteers for the Council. Hubert Dunkle, 86, passed away on April 5, 2010. Hubert was a stalwart volunteer for the New Straitsville History Group, recycling thousands of aluminum cans while raising money to buy the Robinson’s Cave historic property and erect the building at the foot of the cave named in his honor, Dunkle Hall. Both gentlemen will be missed. We thank them for their contributions and extend condolences to their families.
