Council volunteer Barb Gier is a serious Ohio State basketball fan. Her home town is Upper Sandusky, which also happens to be home to OSU Men’s basketball star Jon Diebler who is on his way to becoming the most prolific 3-point shooter in the history of college basketball. His team, nicknamed the Buckeyes (have you heard of them?), are having an outstanding season and many expect them to win the NCAA championship in March. Wouldn’t you like to have a basketball personally signed for the Little Cities Council by Diebler, thanks to Barb? Well, the possibility exists if you purchase a raffle ticket from Council volunteers prior to the Appalachian Spring Festival where the winning ticket will be drawn. Call our office at 740-394-3011 if you wish to help sell, or to purchase a raffle ticket. Chances are $1 each or 6 for $5.
