Work is progressing on the Little Cities Archive in Shawnee where pictures, artifacts and media items are being electronically catalogued. A Series of work days during the winter will sort through artifacts, tagging, boxing and entering them into the system. Persons wishing to volunteer during these work days should leave a message at the office phone at 740-394-3011. Depending on a tentative proposal with a Hocking College’s Heritage Interpretation class, an open house at the archive is tentatively set for Spring where students may assist in an interpretive program for the opening. More details about the opening will be posted on the LCBD web site www.littlecitiesofblackdiamonds.org as plans develop.
