Despite inclement weather, last year’s Appalachian Spring Festival was considered among the best financially, programmatically and in volunteer hours logged. A growing group of Athens area volunteers joined with long-standing regulars to give new life to the festival in 2010. Help continue that momentum by attending a kick-off meeting for this year’s festival, set for 5:30PM, Thursday, February 24 at the Eclipse Company Store. Pizza will be provided, with an invite for those inclined to do so to bring a salad to share. Be there!
