| A good starting point for new arrivals to the Little Cities is the Wayne Forest Visitors Center located on U. S. Rt. 33 Southeast between Nelsonville and Athens. The coal tipple style building houses the headquarters of Ohio’s only national forest and features an attractive and informative visitor’s center and gift shop, open Monday-Friday 9-5 and some Saturdays. Pick up the Little Cities of Black Diamonds Map and Driving Tour brochure at this location and take a self-guided loop tour of the microregion beginning at this location |
