The natural beauty of the Little Cities region abounds to the east of State Route13 between Corning and Glouster.    Just  north of Burr Oak Lake where Perry, Morgan and Athens County come together Wayne National Forest’s Wildcat Hollow Hiking Trail.  The trail is a mecca for wildflower enthusiasts in the spring and overnight backpackers in the summer.  A five mile day loop and 15 mile overnight loop crosses the tributaries of the pristine East Branch of Sunday Creek and traverses steep hillsides and hollows.  WPA Era pine plantation,  mature hardwood forests and a generous view of sandstone outcroppings puts this trail among Ohio’s finest.
