Little Cities acquires artifacts from early Corning history
Recently, items from an estate with ties to Corning in Perry County have been purchased and artifacts have been brought to the Little Cities Archives. These two lodge ribbons both appear to date from around 1900 and were probably owned by the Potter/ Learned family, undertakers from Valley Street, ( behind the Sunday Creek Store) Corning. I am sure any member of the Eagles Aerie #463 will be excited to see an excellent example of their ribbon with the traditional reverse side in black for funerals.
