Noon-5PM Festival Grounds Exhibits, Vendors & Food Stand Open with Live Music
Noon-5PM Children’s Station Open Walk up activities & games for children provided by Ohio University College of Education CARE Program
1:15PM Family & Children Tree Trek Walk along the Hock-Hocking Adena Bike Trail with naturalist Ann Bonner from the Ohio Division of Forestry identifying and learning about our region’s trees
2:00PM -4:00PM History Hunt Scour the Eclipse Company Town for historical treasures with the students from Hocking College’s Historical Interpretation Program—cash in at Company Store for Prizes
2:15PM Dance around the May Pole Join the students from Ohio University’s College of Education CARE program as they revive the traditional May Pole Ceremony as children weave colorful ribbons onto the traditional May Pole via dance.
4:00PM Children’s Auction Children can experience and learn about auctions in the a brief benefit auction (3-5 items of interest for young people) with auctioneer Paul Harper. Must be accompanied by adult.
     
    Also children may want to join with parents on one of the Tour de Forest Benefit Bicycle Ride. We recommend the shorter course along the Hock-Hocking Adena Bike Trail.
